The Minister received the delegation of the association, headed by Engineer Suad Al-Hussein, Engineer Ali Al-Harz, and Engineer Mohammed Al-Juhaim, in his office today. The association stressed the urgency of implementing the law regarding the purchase of energy from citizens and activating its mechanisms, especially at the present time when the region is witnessing significant transformations towards expanding the use of clean energy and transitioning to green building. The association expressed its readiness, through its committees and working teams, to support the Ministry of Electricity and various entities involved in renewable energy affairs, as well as promoting their utilization and highlighting their numerous advantages. Minister Aburquba also learned about the preparations of the association to organize a Kuwaiti conference with broad Gulf participation to activate the sustainable energy sector in the country and attract investments within its framework.
